Individual therapy, also known as psychotherapy or counseling, is a form of mental health treatment that focuses on helping an individual overcome personal challenges and improve their overall well-being. It involves a one-on-one relationship between the client and therapist. Therapy sessions are held in a safe, confidential, and judgement-free environment where the client can explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. The therapist and client work together to identify areas of concern, set achievable goals, and develop strategies to address the issues at hand.

Individual therapy can be a transformative experience addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, grief and loss, and many other mental health and emotional challenges. With therapy one has the potential to gain insight, increase self-awareness, and develop new skills and coping mechanisms to improve their quality of life.

Couples therapy, or couples counseling, is held in a supportive environment where partners can work together to understand each other better and build a stronger, more fulfilling relationship. Couples therapy can help couples who are experiencing various problems, such as communication difficulties, conflicts, infidelity, sexual issues, and different life goals. The therapist guides each partner to express their feelings and concerns in a constructive manner and helps them develop new communication skills. To develop new skills various techniques are used such as role-playing, active listening, and conflict resolution strategies.

The goal of couples therapy is to promote healthy communication and understanding, and to help both partners feel more connected and satisfied with their relationship.

Group therapy consists of a small group of individuals who meet regularly in a safe and supportive environment with a therapist to work through common emotional or psychological issues. Group topics can address a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, and relationship issues. In group therapy, participants share their experiences, thoughts, and feelings with each other and receive support and feedback from both the therapist and other group members.

Through group therapy, participants can develop new insights, learn new coping strategies, and receive validation and encouragement from others who understand what they are going through. Group therapy can also help individuals improve their communication skills, develop empathy, and learn to trust others.

Yoga classes are group sessions that focus on practicing yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Iris teaches different styles of yoga that offer a variety of benefits.

Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that incorporates breathwork, movement, meditation, and chanting to balance the mind, body, and spirit. It emphasizes energy flow, spiritual awareness, and personal growth.

Vinyasa Yoga, also known as flow yoga, is a more vigorous and fast-paced style that links movement and breath in a continuous flow. It builds strength, flexibility, and endurance while also promoting mindfulness and stress relief.

Yin Yoga is a slower and more meditative style that focuses on holding postures for longer periods, typically three to five minutes. It targets the connective tissues, joints, and fascia of the body, promoting deep relaxation and releasing tension.

Restorative Yoga is a gentle and calming style that involves holding postures for extended periods using props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks. It helps to reduce stress, ease tension, and promote relaxation and sleep.

Yoga classes provide a safe and supportive environment where people can explore different styles of yoga and find the practice that best supports their physical, mental, and emotional health.
